Practice primary care with the time and support to truly know your patients. This Senior Care Physician opportunity in Spring Hill, Florida is built around a relationship-based model where quality takes priority over volume. With smaller patient panels, longer appointments, and a highly supported clinical environment, physicians can focus on proactive care, thoughtful decision-making, and meaningful long-term relationships with the seniors they serve.
Position Highlights
- Monday through Friday clinic schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Patient panels intentionally capped at approximately 500
- Average of approximately 12-13 patient visits per day
- 30-minute routine visits and 45-minute new patient appointments
- Dedicated time built into the day for care coordination, follow-ups, and unscheduled patient needs
- Phone-only call rotation approximately once every 6-8 months
Practice Environment
- Physician-led, value-based primary care model dedicated to adults age 65+
- Approximately three Medical Assistants per physician supporting clinical and administrative workflows
- Dedicated MRA coder for each physician, plus centralized billing and medical records support
- Center Manager and regional clinical operations support at the practice level
- eClinicalWorks and Epic platforms, with continued transition toward Epic
- On-site diagnostic services and common outpatient procedures supporting comprehensive senior care
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation structured with base salary, review bonus, and clinic performance bonus

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related primary care specialty
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
- Primary care, managed care, value-based care experience, or completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Passion for building meaningful, long-term relationships with senior patients
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to coordinated care
- Interest in improving outcomes through proactive and preventive medicine
