Overview:
Our well-established primary care practice in Midland is seeking a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to provide comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan. Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Competitive salary: $228,000–250,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including history, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic workups
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and other common primary care issues
• Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and lifestyle counseling to promote long-term health
• Manage medication therapy, ensuring prescription safety, monitoring for side effects, and adjusting regimens as clinically indicated
• Document all patient encounters, orders, and follow-up plans accurately in the EHR
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community resources to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive patient support
• Offer patient-centered counseling and education to support adherence, shared decision-making, and self-management of chronic disease
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or active pursuit of certification if board-eligible)
• Current DEA registration and eligibility to prescribe medications in the U.S.
• Minimum 1 year of primary care experience
• Active, current medical licensure (MD/DO) in Michigan
