Physician/Doctor - Internal Medicine
Location: AZ
Schedule: Day shift 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Position Overview
Provide hospital-based internal medicine coverage with a focus on admissions and cross-coverage as part of a multi-physician team.
Key Responsibilities
Hospital admissions and cross-coverage (excluding ICU cross-coverage as noted)
Coordinate care with available specialty services
Document care in the EMR
Clinical Scope Highlights
Practice setting: Hospital
EMR: Cerner
Patient volume: 20-30 patients/day (collective service)
Required Qualifications
Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active AZ license (or IMLC LOQ in hand)
DEA required
ACLS required
Minimum experience: 2 years
Credentialing / Onboarding
Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks
