Post Acute Care Medical Director Opening in Syracuse, NY Employed, Full-time We are seeking a compassionate and driven physician to join our post-acute care team and serve as Medical Director in Syracuse, NY. * Full-time rounding and providing medical directorship in skilled nursing facilities * In this role, you'll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. * Schedule: 5 days/week * Day call weekends. After hours/night-time backup call * Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams * Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs * Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes * Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach. * Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies * Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations Compensation & Benefits * Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $302,718 to $338,480 annually and no cap on productivity income potential. * Medical directorship roles also include monthly stipend. * Sign-on bonus * 401(k) * Dental, vision, and health insurance * Flexible spending account * Health savings account * Flex time off * Professional liability insurance Qualifications * Current physician license (state of New York) and DEA * Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings * Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook * Ability to commute/relocate: Syracuse, NY * Work location: in-person Syracuse, NY Syracuse recently ranked among the top 10 percent of Best Places to Live.
