Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician for a locum tenens position in Pikeville, Kentucky. This is a home health opportunity conducting in-home health evaluations for health plan members across an assigned multi-county territory. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Obtain and review medical history, current medications, and available prior records
Perform focused physical examinations in the member's home
Identify and document care gaps, chronic condition status, and preventive care needs
Complete assessment documentation in the proprietary charting platform
Communicate findings and follow-up recommendations to the member's primary care provider
Travel throughout the assigned market territory, which includes Breathitt, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, Morgan, Perry, Pike, and Wolfe counties
Qualifications
Active Kentucky medical license required
Working Hours
8-hour days scheduled within a 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. window
No nights or weekends required
No call required
