Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician for a locum tenens position in Tappahannock, VA. This is an in-home health assessment opportunity serving health plan members across Virginia's Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: home health / in-home member evaluations
- Charting completed in a proprietary in-home assessment platform
Job Responsibilities
Perform history and physical examination, review of systems, and medication reconciliation
Identify and document chronic conditions, care gaps, and follow-up needs
Complete an average of 6-9 in-home evaluations per day
Document all findings in the assessment platform
Travel within the assigned territory, which includes: Essex County, King and Queen County, King William County, Lancaster County, Middlesex County, Northumberland County, Richmond County (Northern Neck), and Westmoreland County
Qualifications
Active Virginia medical license required
DEA registration not required for this assignment
Working Hours
Flexible scheduling available Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
No nights or weekends required
No call required
