Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care physician for a locum tenens position in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. This is a home health opportunity conducting pre-scheduled in-home health evaluations for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and select commercial plan members. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: home health — in-home member evaluations
- Coverage territory: Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Snyder and Union counties in central Pennsylvania
Job Responsibilities
Perform a medication and medical history review at each visit
Complete a physical evaluation in the member's home
Document findings on a pre-populated, member-specific form provided for each evaluation
Complete approximately six to nine scheduled evaluations per day
Travel to member residences throughout the assigned county territory
This role does not include prescribing medication, ordering laboratory testing, or altering members' existing treatment regimens
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license required; license must be in hand
DEA registration not required for this position
Working Hours
Eight-hour day shifts scheduled within a 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. window
No nights or weekends required
No call required
