Job description
We are seeking a Family Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Venice, California. This is an outpatient community clinic assignment serving a diverse, predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population across the full lifespan. Please see below for more information.
- Outpatient community clinic setting
- Multi-site clinic network throughout the greater Los Angeles area, with a home base of one to two sites to keep the assignment within a reasonable commutable radius
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Manage an outpatient schedule averaging approximately 18 patients per day
Practice independently in a high-volume community clinic setting with established outpatient primary care experience
Deliver care to a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population; Spanish or medical Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
Document all patient encounters in Epic
Qualifications
Active California medical license required
DEA required
BLS
ACLS
Epic charting experience required
Working Hours
Alternating schedule: three day shifts 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and two shifts 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
One to two evening shifts per week
Some flexibility for 12-hour shifts depending on assigned clinic location
No 4 x 10 schedule option available
No call required
Part-time and full-time coverage considered
