Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician for a locum tenens position in Brooklyn, New York. This is a home health opportunity conducting pre-scheduled in-home health evaluations for health plan members, available on a short-term or long-term basis. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: Home Health
- Facility type: Float Pool
Job Responsibilities
Perform medication and medical history review at each visit
Complete a physical evaluation in the health plan member's home
Document findings on a pre-populated, patient-specific form provided for each evaluation
Manage a clinical scope of approximately 6-9 visits per day
No prescribing, laboratory ordering, or modification of the member's existing treatment regimen
Qualifications
Active New York state license required, must be in hand
DEA not required - role does not involve prescribing or diagnosing
Name clear required
Working Hours
Day shift, 8 hours, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
No nights or weekends required
No call required
