Job description
We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This is an outpatient primary care clinic opportunity. Please see below for more information.
- Outpatient primary care clinic
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Manage a patient panel averaging 18-22 patients per day
Care for a heavily geriatric population with a mix of middle-aged and younger adults
Manage patients with significant multi-comorbidity, including diabetes and heart disease
Perform standard primary care clinic procedures
Provider may see all ages; clinic can accommodate a provider who sees adults 18+ only
Participate in "Doctor of the Day" coverage, addressing patient calls triaged by nursing staff during business hours
Complete online EMR modules or pre-employment training prior to the first day
Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Wisconsin state license; IMLC accepted
BLS
Working Hours
4 to 5 days per week; Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday both accepted
No after-hours call required
Doctor of the Day participation during business hours only
