Job description
We are seeking a Family Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Florence, Oregon. This is a combined outpatient clinic and inpatient opportunity with shared call coverage. Please see below for more information.
- 21-bed facility
- Epic EMR
- Clinic and hospital privileges
- Inpatient and outpatient setting
Job Responsibilities
Manage a clinic patient panel averaging approximately 20 patients per day
Care for patients across the full age spectrum, from newborns through geriatrics
Assess newborns in the hospital and/or clinic setting immediately following delivery; no obstetric medical or surgical care is provided to the mother before, during, or after pregnancy
Perform circumcisions
Provide both rounding and admissions coverage
Practice independently as a solo provider
Maintain a scope and complexity of practice consistent with full family medicine privileges
Qualifications
Active Oregon state license required at time of presentation; applicants with a pending Oregon license may be considered depending on expected issue date
BLS required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
NRP required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Epic EMR required
Circumcision competency required
Working Hours
8-hour day shifts
1.0 FTE
Call required, including weeknight call and weekend call (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
Shared pediatric and post-delivery call coverage
