-This is an outstanding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while practicing comprehensive family medicine in a collaborative Indian Health Service (IHS) facility serving the Crow and Northern Cheyenne communities.

Position Highlights
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Monday-Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Any unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
- Manageable patient volume of approximately 10-15 patients per day
- Care for patients of all ages
- Collaborative team supported by two Registered Nurses
- Opportunity to serve Native American communities in a mission-driven environment
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care services for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries while managing chronic medical conditions.
• Perform preventive health examinations, wellness visits, and health screenings.
• Develop treatment plans focused on improving long-term patient health.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, lab testing, and imaging as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
Licensure
• Any unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
Certifications
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
Experience
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Previous Indian Health Service (IHS), Tribal Health, rural health, or underserved community experience is welcomed but not required
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally respectful care
Working Hours
• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Outpatient clinic only
Skills
