Post-Acute Care Medical Director Opening in Syracuse, NY
Full Time | Medical Director
Seeking a physician to provide post-acute care and medical directorship services across skilled nursing facilities in the Syracuse area.
Highlights:
- Full-time schedule (5 days/week)

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Coordinate care with nursing staff, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide medical oversight and leadership within partnered facilities
- Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure quality care and regulatory compliance within facility settings
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Active New York medical license
- DEA certification
- Experience in post-acute care, hospital medicine, primary care, emergency medicine, or related fields preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Interest in leadership and facility-based medicine
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated earnings: $302,718 - $338,480+
- Fee-for-service compensation model
- Monthly Medical Director stipend
