Mackinac Straits is looking for temporary coverage until a hired provider is able to start - Will Accept MD/DO for role - only 1 provider is needed
Tentative start date- August 3, 2026. Estimated need 12 weeks minimum
Job Responsibilities
Number of Physicians in Practice: For primary care, 5 physicians
How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage: 4
Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? No
Will the Locum Tenens Physician be Expected to Provide Backup for the ED? No
Number of Exam Rooms: 2-3
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Practice Population: Adult/Geriatric
Required General Procedures: ["Evaluation and Mgmt. of Acute Volume / BP Issues"]
Required Gynecology Procedures: ["Pelvic Exam / Pap Smear"]
Required Occupational Medicine Procedures: ["Disability Exams"]
