A fully accredited rural Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as Program Director. This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-supported residency program that combines academic medicine, full-scope family practice, and meaningful community engagement.


The Program Director will provide educational leadership, accreditation oversight, faculty development, and strategic program growth while partnering with academic, hospital, and community stakeholders. The position includes 50% protected administrative/educational time, competitive compensation, and flexibility to maintain a broad clinical practice aligned with individual expertise.

Clinical Practice

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience.
  • At least three years of residency leadership experience as Core Faculty, Associate Program Director, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across academic and community healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
