Job description
We are seeking a Medical Weight Loss Physician for a locum tenens telehealth position. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on Medical Weight Loss (MWL) with the ability to cross-train into Urgent Care and TRT/HRT service lines. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and prescribe compounded GLP-1 medications and other MWL therapies
Maintain a minimum of 20 hours per week of synchronous patient care
Opportunity to cross-train into Urgent Care and TRT/HRT service lines
Qualifications
Experience prescribing Medical Weight Loss medications required (including compounded GLP-1)
Medicare-eligible; must not be opted out of Medicare
Active medical licensure in a minimum of 2 states; multi-state licensure (8+ states) strongly preferred
Prior telehealth experience required
Working Hours
Urgent Care operating hours (EST): 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
TRT/HRT operating hours (EST): 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Flexible scheduling: day, swing, night, and weekend
Visit structure: asynchronous and synchronous
