Job description
We are seeking a Family Physician for a permanent position in Methuen, MA. This is a full-time permanent opportunity providing comprehensive primary and urgent care services within a community health center setting. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Refer patients to other providers as appropriate
Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
Participate in patient care audits for quality assurance and utilization review
Maintain medical professional standards through continuing education, conferences, and seminars
Teach medical residents, students, and other healthcare practitioners as applicable
Serve on-call, including as backup clinician, as assigned
Serve on related committees as requested
Represent the facility with external authorities and the community as required
Supervise nurse practitioners as needed
Travel between sites may be required
Attend meetings and trainings as required by the CMO
Qualifications
Board certification or board eligibility in Family Practice
Current medical license in Massachusetts
