Locums Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient primary care services in Thomaston, CT. This is a great opportunity for a provider who enjoys a steady patient panel, supportive staff, and a balanced weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.

Compensation: $150 Per Hour

Schedule

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or similar)
• Days: Monday–Friday
• Flexibility: Potential for a 4-day work week
• Call Requirements: None

Practice Setting

• Outpatient primary care clinic
• Adult-only patient population (18+)
• Patient Volume: 18–20 patients per day
• Strong support staff including:
  • Dedicated Medical Assistant for each provider
  • Registered Nurse support
  • Front desk/administrative team

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform routine wellness visits and preventive care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active Connecticut medical license
• Experience in outpatient primary care preferred
