Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible; potential 4-day work week)

Position Overview

A well-established outpatient primary care practice in Thomaston, Connecticut is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide temporary coverage. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, team-based environment focused on delivering high-quality care to an adult patient population.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient primary care clinic
• 3-provider practice (currently short one provider)
• Adults only (18+ patient population)
• Supportive clinical team including:
  • Dedicated Medical Assistant per provider
  • Registered Nurse on staff
  • Front desk/administrative support

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Manage ongoing patient care, including preventative services and wellness visits
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

Patient Volume

• 18–20 patients per day

Schedule & Call

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexibility available)
• Potential for a 4-day work week
• No call required

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Connecticut medical license required
• Experience in outpatient primary care preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
