Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Locum Opportunity

A Family Medicine opportunity has reopened in Coal Center, PA, offering a great schedule, supportive staff, and a well-established patient base. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a consistent outpatient assignment with no call responsibilities.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: ASAP (please include availability in presentation)

• Setting: Outpatient – Free-standing clinic

• Schedule: 4–5 days per week

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Call: None

• Patient Volume: Up to 18 patients per day

  • 9 patients per session (morning & afternoon)

  • Includes 1-hour mid-day break (30 min lunch + 30 min admin time)

Practice Details

• Treating patients of all ages (newborn to geriatric)

• Case mix includes:

  • Annual wellness visits

  • Routine physicals

  • Well-child visits

  • Sick visits

  • ER & hospital follow-ups

  • Pre-operative evaluations

• Patient population: ~89% adults / 11% pediatrics

• Busy, high-volume practice – candidates should be comfortable with documentation efficiency

• EMR: eClinicalWorks

• On-site support includes APP coverage and additional physician presence

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Family Medicine preferred)

• Will consider Internal Medicine physicians with pediatric and Family Medicine experience

• Active Pennsylvania license preferred (IMLC accepted but PA license preferred for quicker start)

• DEA, ACLS, and BLS required

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (new graduates will be considered)

Travel & Expenses

• Travel is covered and may include:

  • Mileage or airfare

  • Lodging

  • Rental car and fuel

  • Parking and ground transportation
