Overview:
An established outpatient clinic in Yakima, Washington is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment.
This is a structured, team-based primary care environment with strong clinical support, predictable scheduling, and a manageable daily patient load.

Position Highlights:
• Ongoing locums assignment
• Monday–Friday schedule (8a–5p, 1-hour lunch)
• 16 patients per day
• No call requirement
• Full clinical support staff
• Epic EMR
• Travel & lodging fully covered
• Fast decision turnaround (~5 days from submission)

Clinical Environment:
• Outpatient primary care clinic
• Dedicated MA + 4 RNs per provider
• 3 APPs on-site
• On-site lab and draw station
• Clinical pharmacist + pharmacy
• Dietitians and diabetes education program
• GI and Endocrinology located in the same building
This is a highly supported, collaborative setting designed to allow providers to focus on patient care rather than operational burden.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Manage acute and chronic conditions
• Handle in-basket messaging and follow-ups
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
• Document encounters in Epic EMR

Requirements:
• MD/DO – Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Washington license required (IMLC accepted)
• Active DEA required
• BLS certification required
• Outpatient primary care experience required

Compensation:
• Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided
• Flexible structuring depending on experience and availability

• Credentialing timeline: ~60–90 days (expedited available for clean files)
