Position Overview
We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a flexible locum assignment in southern Texas. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for consistent outpatient work with a supportive team and no call responsibilities.
Assignment Details
- 4 month assignment with option to extend
- No call and no overtime
- Outpatient primary care setting
- Treat acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions
- Bread-and-butter primary care cases
- EMR: Epic
- Full support staff including MAs, RNs, and front office
- Potential to float between locations if needed (mileage reimbursed)
- Dedicated admin time for charting
- 5 to 7 week credentialing timeframe
- Preference for local candidates
