Salary: Negotiable

GlobalPoint Inc. is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians for a long-term contract opportunity providing Primary Care services in Augusta, Georgia.

This role involves delivering comprehensive primary care within a team-based care model, supporting preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordinated patient care in a clinical setting.

Health & Compliance Requirements

Candidates must meet standard healthcare requirements including:

• Tuberculosis testing

• MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B immunization proof

• Tdap vaccination

• Annual influenza vaccination

• Bloodborne pathogen training compliance

Job Responsibilities

Physicians will provide comprehensive primary care services including:

• Preventive care (immunizations, screenings, health maintenance)
• Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart failure, etc.)
• Acute care evaluations and treatment
• Mental health screening (depression, PTSD, substance use) with appropriate referrals
• Medication management and follow-up care
• Coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team (PACT model)
• Patient education on lifestyle, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Telehealth services including virtual visits and remote patient monitoring
• Accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record

Additional Responsibilities:

• Review and coordinate inpatient admissions when required
• Collaborate with specialists, social workers, and care teams
• Initiate appropriate referrals and follow-up care
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain compliance with federal healthcare regulations and documentation standards

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Current DEA certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to meet federal credentialing requirements
