Locum - Physician - Primary Care Colonial Heights, VA

Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree with valid medical license in Virginia
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Proven experience in outpatient primary care settings
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in adult and pediatric care
- Competence in procedures such as suturing minor lacerations, I&D, pelvic exams, and Pap smears
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a patient panel
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
- Knowledge of Epic EMR system
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
- Prior experience working with adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations
Other Requirements:
- Must hold or be eligible for Virginia medical licensure
- Credentialing timeframe estimated at 45-60 days
- Willingness to travel to the practice site as needed
- Ability to start on or around March 13, 2026
