Job description

Job description We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a high-quality outpatient role in Georgia. This position is ideal for a physician who enjoys the pace of rural medicine and is looking for a leadership component. You will join a team in a newer facility with a focus on community health, providing standard primary care while overseeing a small team of advanced practice providers.

-Schedule: Full-time; Standard outpatient work week (Monday–Friday).
-Location: Hawkinsville, Georgia.
-Volume: Standard outpatient patient panels with a focus on preventative health and chronic disease management.
-Support: Collaborative environment within a modern, well-equipped office; integrated with hospital leadership and a dedicated clinical support team.

  • Base Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 annually.

  • Incentives: Supervision Stipend of $7,500 per year, per APP (Totaling $22,500 in additional annual income).

  • Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package included.


Job Responsibilities

-Provide full-scope outpatient family medicine services tailored to a rural primary care setting.
-Clinical Supervision: Provide high-level oversight and mentorship for three (3) Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
-Manage patient panels with a dedicated focus on preventative health and complex chronic disease management.
-Maintain efficient clinical workflow and high standards of documentation within a modern office environment.
-Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and community satisfaction.

Qualifications

-Education: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
-Board Status: Required Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine.
-Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for an active Georgia Medical License and active DEA.
-Experience: Must be comfortable with clinical supervision and have an affinity for rural health dynamics.

Working Hours

-Full-time, permanent position.
-Standard clinic hours (e.g., Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
-Shared call rotation schedule as determined by the department.

Skills

-Strong leadership and mentorship abilities specifically for the supervision of clinical staff and APPs.
-Proficiency in outpatient procedures and efficient EMR documentation.
-Excellent interpersonal skills tailored for a close-knit, rural community setting.
