Coverage Needed
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: 11/30/2026
- Schedule: Monday 12p-8p; Tuesday-Friday 8a-4p
Clinical Details
- Specialty: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Coverage Type: Both Inpatient and Outpatient
- EMR: TechCare
- Support Staff: Nursing, APPs, physicians, and medical director
- Patient Encounters per Shift: Varies; infirmary census averages 14-24
- most are not high acuity and need seen weekly or less
- Procedures: Basic procedural skills including suturing, splinting, incision, and drainage
- Current Incarceration Population: 1,800 patients
- Caring for infirmary patients as well as acute patient issues
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- BLS required, ACLS preferred
- Active PA license required
- Minimum Commitment: 26 weeks
