Primary Care Physician | Full-Time

A well-established not-for-profit healthcare organization in the Charleston, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join its expanding outpatient practice. The position offers a strong referral base, modern facilities, and a supportive leadership structure designed to promote physician success and work-life balance.

Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions

• Conduct preventive health screenings and routine physical examinations

• Manage chronic disease care plans and coordinate specialty referrals

• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and care management teams

• Participate in shared call schedule (primarily phone-based)

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Eligible for South Carolina State medical licensure

• Active or eligible DEA registration

• Strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills

• Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
