Location: Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, Corinth, Houlton, Brownville, Patten, Millinocket

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care services. This is an urgent need position supporting a busy outpatient practice serving patients across the lifespan.

The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.


Compensation
Compensation is negotiable based on experience
Potential productivity or quality-based incentives available


Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state guidelines
Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams
Refer patients to specialty care as appropriate

Qualifications
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Active or eligible Maine NP license
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Experience in primary care preferred (new graduates considered)
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
