Excellent locum opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage in a well-supported primary care setting. This role offers a 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) with a structured schedule and rotational after-hours call.
Join a collaborative team with Medical Assistants and dedicated front-office staff, plus access to onsite diagnostic imaging and point-of-care testing. The practice serves a balanced patient population including adult and pediatric outpatient care.
This is an ideal opportunity for physicians seeking consistent weekday clinic hours with strong clinical support in a community-focused setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage adult and pediatric general outpatient visits
• See approximately 20 patients per day
• Participate in rotational after-hours call coverage
• Utilize Heathland EHR for documentation
• Collaborate with onsite clinical and administrative staff
• Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits
Qualifications
• Active Michigan Medical License (Required)
• BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
• Recent NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
• Strong outpatient primary care experience
• Ability to participate in call rotation
Working Hours
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Outpatient clinic coverage
• After-hours call based on rotation
• No weekend clinic requirement
