Position:
• Specialty: Urgent Care (MD)
• Location: Numerous clinic sites in San Antonio, TX
• Floating: Providers must be willing to float between nearby San Antonio clinics; cross-credentialing available for Austin if desired
• Schedule: PRN — 8-hour, 11-hour, and primarily 12-hour shifts
• Shift Distribution: Schedules emailed out weekly
• Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday 8a–8p, Saturday 8a–7p, Sunday 8a–5p
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Patient Volume: High volume — up to 35–40 patients per 12-hour shift (varies by site)
• Setting: General Urgent Care
• EMR: Practice Velocity
• Support Staff: Varies by location (discussed during interview)
• Dress Code: Solid-color scrubs without other medical company logos; no black, white, or red
• Additional Notes: Local candidates only — no travel/lodging provided
Requirements:
• Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Active Texas medical license (willingness to apply accepted)
• 3–6 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics
• Must be comfortable seeing pediatric patients 3 months and older
• Able to manage high patient volume, especially weekends
Compensation:
• Pay: Discussed by phone only
• Weekly paychecks
