Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state medical license in Texas.
- Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields.
- Ability to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Strong interviewing skills and physical assessment capabilities, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with medical reporting and EHR systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with Veterans' health evaluations.
- Certification in occupational health or related specialties.
- Experience with telehealth or remote assessments.
- Bilingual abilities or additional language proficiencies.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with at least 2 years of clinical practice.
- Prior experience in military or Veterans healthcare is advantageous.
- Prior experience performing C&P exams or similar assessments is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must have own office within 50 miles of Pensacola, FL, if working off-site.
- Willingness to work PRN, ongoing basis, with flexibility for ½ or full-day shifts.
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
- Ability to commit to consistent scheduled days as needed.
- Compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws.
