Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Medicine
- Proven experience in primary care or general medicine settings
- Strong diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to perform thorough interview-based assessments and physical examinations
- Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Compensation & Pension exams
- Prior work performing separation health assessments
- Knowledge of veteran healthcare protocols
- Ability to adapt quickly to various clinical environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in primary care or general medicine
- Prior experience in a locum or temporary physician role is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Must have own office within a 50-mile radius of Houston, TX (for providers utilizing their own practice)
- Willingness to perform one-time non-treatment exams, including interview-based assessments and physical testing
- Ability to work PRN, on a flexible schedule, including half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
- Compliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements
- No prescribing or treatment involved—focused on assessments and documentation
Salary & Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $624.00
- Flat Rate for Half-Day (up to 4 hours): $800
- Flat Rate for Full Day (5 hours or more): $1,600
- One-Time Bonus: $650 upon completing required training and performing initial exams
- Travel and licensure reimbursements as applicable
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
