Required Skills:
  • Medical license in good standing in your state
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related fields
  • Proven experience in general medicine practice
  • Excellent interview and physical assessment skills
  • Ability to perform physician-administered C&P exams and health assessments
  • Strong organizational skills for documentation and report submission
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within designated areas

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with VA or government healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with compensation and pension examinations
  • Certification in DMA or related credentials
  • Experience with telehealth or remote assessments

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in a primary care or general medicine setting
  • Previous experience with Veterans or military-related health assessments

Other Requirements:
  • Must reside within 50 miles of assigned location or have own office nearby (if required)
  • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
  • Ability to complete exams and reports efficiently within scheduled timeframes
  • Willingness to undergo credentialing and onboarding processes rapidly
  • Participation in ongoing administrative and documentation tasks
