Required Skills:
- Medical license in good standing in your state
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related fields
- Proven experience in general medicine practice
- Excellent interview and physical assessment skills
- Ability to perform physician-administered C&P exams and health assessments
- Strong organizational skills for documentation and report submission
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within designated areas
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with VA or government healthcare settings
- Familiarity with compensation and pension examinations
- Certification in DMA or related credentials
- Experience with telehealth or remote assessments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in a primary care or general medicine setting
- Previous experience with Veterans or military-related health assessments
Other Requirements:
- Must reside within 50 miles of assigned location or have own office nearby (if required)
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
- Ability to complete exams and reports efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Willingness to undergo credentialing and onboarding processes rapidly
- Participation in ongoing administrative and documentation tasks
