• Shift Schedule: Orientation 8am-4pm (2/11); Regular shifts 7am-4pm (2/12, 2/13, 2/16-2/21); On-call 4pm-7am (2/16-2/21, ending 7am 2/22)

Radiation Oncology Physician Qualifications

• Board Certified Physician (MD) in Radiation Oncology
• Active ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Radiation Oncology
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Experience with Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and 3D CRT
• Fellowship in Radiation Oncology preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Radiation Oncology Physician Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive radiation oncology care in a hospital-based clinic
• Utilize advanced treatment techniques including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and 3D CRT
• Participate in treatment planning and beam shaping (MLC)
• Collaborate with healthcare support staff: RNs, nurse navigators, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists, and clerical team
• Manage 10-15 patient encounters per shift, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
• Provide on-call coverage as scheduled
