Physician – Veterans Disability Evaluations (PRN)

Location: North Platte, NE
Schedule: 1 day per week (PRN, ongoing)
Coverage Area: Providers must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius
Malpractice Insurance: Included in rate

Compensation

• $1,000 per day for 5+ hour shifts

• $500 per day for 0–4 hour shifts

• Flat daily rates include exam time, documentation, and required follow-up addendums

About the Role

This PRN opportunity allows physicians to support U.S. Veterans by performing one-time disability evaluations. The role is strictly non-treatment and non-prescribing, focused on clinical interviews, medical record review, and limited physical assessments to support benefit determinations.

The position offers flexibility, predictable scheduling, and a streamlined clinical workflow with no ongoing patient care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-time disability evaluations and separation health assessments

• Perform interview-based exams with limited physical components (e.g., range of motion and strength testing)

• Review medical records and diagnostic documentation

• Complete evaluation reports, medical opinions, and occasional addendums

• Submit documentation within established turnaround times
