Medical Director for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Needed for Growing New Mexico Behavioral Health Organization

Organization has one year under its belt and growing throughout Western New Mexico. They have an intensive out-patient program which operates as a continuum of care, and strives to develop, maintain, and provide a comprehensive approach to treating mental health and substance abuse. Out-patient services are for adults 18 years of age and older, and who are substance dependent, substance abusers, or are at risk for addiction. They strive to provide a sober environment to men and women. The group is set up with telemedicine and a brick-and-mortar location in Gallup, NM. Some core features to the program include outpatient clinic visits, telemed visits, group therapy, medication management, family therapy and education, psychoeducation, addiction therapy, relapse prevention, case management, and more.

Due to growth, Remote Clinical Director (travel there 1x a month) to oversee/assist with:

  • Expected 10 hours per week on telemedicine group/individual visits
  • 3-4 days per week telemedicine, 1 day a month on site
  • Client will pay for travel and accommodations on monthly visit
  • Program adherence and future growth in area and state
  • Maintain documentation, audits, Joint Commission, HIPPA, etc.
  • Oversee IOP clinical services
  • Supervise therapist and counselors, assist with continuing education
  • Adjust when needed for clinical programming based on clients’ needs
  • Open to fulltime and part-time roles
  • Bonus based on overall growth of program and additional hours available

Required:

  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) experience
  • 2+ years of leadership responsibilities
  • New Mexico or Arizona licensed
  • LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or LADAC licensures

Offering:

  • Base salary of $70,000-$120,000 depending on experience, if you see patients, and hours worked per week
  • Benefits, CE budget, licensing reimbursement
  • Open to remote and onsite, fulltime and part-time candidates
