Seeking a Post-Acute Care Medical Director to provide primary care services and clinical leadership within a skilled nursing facility in Hayesville, North Carolina. This role includes oversight of clinical operations, quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Position Highlights:
Part-time leadership role providing primary care in a skilled nursing facility
Customizable weekday daytime schedule, two days per week
Conduct rounds one day per week
Oversight of clinical operations and patient care quality
Collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams
Mentorship and development of clinical staff
Participation in quality improvement initiatives
No primary night call

Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Active and unrestricted North Carolina medical license and DEA
Primary care experience
Proven leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Compensation & Benefits:
Fee-for-service compensation model
Estimated annual compensation range of $138,324 – $159,028
