Location: Northwest Alaska
Job Type: W2, Permanent Position
Date Range: ASAP
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality primary care services
- Coordinate patient medical care within the facility
- Participate in efforts to improve patient care services and staffing
- Travel required (25-50% of the time) and may include: commercial aircraft, small aircraft, snowmobiles, ATVs or boats
Position Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Physician (MD/DO) license, or eligibility to practice under another State license as permitted by Alaska statute
- Board Eligible or Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or other approved specialty
- Active DEA registration
- Alaska bush experience highly preferred
- Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
