Locums Family Medicine Physician – Ketchikan, Alaska
Outpatient Only | Critical Access Facility | Epic EMR
Coverage Dates / Availability
- Start date: May 1, 2026
- Day 1 reserved for orientation
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinic only
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p
- Shift length: 8 hours
- Call: None
- Active Alaska medical license – Required
- Active DEA – Required
- Expedited credentialing planned (license and DEA must be in hand at submission)
- Board Certified – Family Medicine
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Setting: Outpatient only
- Facility type: Critical Access Hospital
- Trauma level: Adult Level IV
- Privileges: Clinic and hospital (outpatient care only)
- Patient population: All ages
- Average volume: 16–18 patients per day
- Provider coverage: Solo
- Call / Rounding / Admissions: None
- Must demonstrate admitting physician involvement for at least 20 patients within the past 24 months (case logs required)
- Skin excisions / punch biopsies
