Full-Time Urgent Care Physician — Temple, Texas

Position Details

Location: Temple, TX
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days/week
Compensation: $130 – $140/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting

  • Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits

  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging

  • Perform urgent care procedures including suturing and wound management

  • Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly

  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR

  • Code and bill services appropriately

  • Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks

  • Practice in alignment with company clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license

  • Board certification or eligibility

  • Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to treat patients of all ages

  • Active BLS certification

  • EHR proficiency

  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays

  • DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Experience

  • Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Fast-Track experience

  • Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)

  • Experience with preliminary X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
