We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for an outpatient primary care locums assignment in Berea, Kentucky. This opportunity is based in a well-run Primary Care Medical Home serving an adult patient population, with a predictable weekday schedule and no call responsibilities.
This is an excellent option for physicians looking for a focused outpatient-only role, strong work-life balance, and a collegial clinic environment, with the potential for extension.

Position details:
• Standard primary care clinic schedule
• Appointments every 30–45 minutes
• Average volume of approximately 14–16 patients per day
• Primary Care Medical Home managing acute and chronic conditions
• Not occupational medicine
• On-site medication dispensary experience preferred, not required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
Schedule:
• Monday: 9:00am–6:30pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am–3:00pm
• Thursday: 9:00am–5:30pm
• 30-minute lunch
• Start date: ASAP
• Initial duration: ~4 months with potential to extend
Requirements:
• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Kentucky license
• At least one year of post-residency primary care experience preferred
• BLS and DEA required
Interview & onboarding:
• Brief virtual interview
• Onboarding timeline approximately 2–3 weeks
• No inpatient duties
• No after-hours responsibilities
