A well-established, multi-site community health organization in the Midwest is seeking a Primary Care Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead clinical operations while maintaining a limited patient panel. This is a true physician-leader role with authority, influence, and strong financial upside.
Compensation & Incentives
- Guaranteed Base Salary: Up to $410,000
- Quarterly Production Bonuses
- Up to $40,000 annually
- $30,000 Retention Bonus

Leadership Opportunity
- Serve as the clinical leader and role model for physicians and APPs
- Mentor NPs and PAs (no day-to-day oversight burden)
- Shape and improve clinical best practices
- Partner closely with executive leadership
- Influence care delivery across multiple clinic sites
- No prior leadership experience required-support and collaboration provided
Practice & Schedule
- Employed position
- 5-day work week | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 2 days clinical / 2.5 days administrative
- No weekends, no call
- EPIC EMR
- Strong MA, NP, and PA support
Candidate Profile
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Interest in leadership, mentorship, and long-term impact
