Locum - Family Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Join our dedicated team at a prominent healthcare facility in Caro, Michigan, as a Family Medicine Physician. This vital outpatient clinic role offers coverage from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. As a key member of our practice, you will help address a recruitment gap and play an essential role in providing quality care to our community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult and pediatric patients
• Conduct routine physical examinations and assess health concerns
• Take part in after-hours call based on a rotation schedule
• Collaborate with a support team, including Medical Assistants and a Receptionist
• Utilize on-site services such as Point-of-Care testing and Diagnostic Imaging
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Heathland EMR system
• Manage an average of 20 patients per day

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Strong clinical skills in both adult and pediatric care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Local candidates are preferred; no flights will be arranged

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan Medical License (MI) - Required
• BLS and ACLS certifications - Required
• Provide a copy of the NPDB self-query (within 30 days) - Required
