Family Medicine Physician (Outpatient Clinic)

McLaren Caro is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage due to a recruitment gap. This is a temporary assignment focused on adult and pediatric outpatient care in a clinic-based setting.

Assignment Details

  • Coverage Dates: March 10, 2025 – May 29, 2025

  • Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with clinic call

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

  • After-Hours Call: Rotational

  • Average Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Adult outpatient family medicine

  • Pediatric general outpatient care

Practice Support & Resources

  • Support staff includes medical assistants and a receptionist

  • Onsite services include point-of-care testing and in-building diagnostic imaging

EMR

  • Heathland EHR

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

  • Active Michigan medical license

  • BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Local candidates only (no flights)

  • Availability must be provided at time of name clear

  • NPDB self-query required at presentation (pulled within the last month)

Additional Notes

  • After-hours call participation required based on rotation

  • McLaren does not reimburse medical staff or credentialing fees

  • Lodging and travel must follow McLaren guidelines and policies
