Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8am–4pm or 9am–5pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Positions Available: 2 (for 2025/2026 starts)
Position Overview
A premier concierge-style primary care practice in Charlotte, NC is seeking Board-Certified Primary Care Physicians to join their growing team. This model emphasizes relationship-based medicine, exceptional patient access, and the time to truly care for each patient. Physicians enjoy a capped panel, extended visits, robust clinical support, and a practice structure designed for longevity and work–life balance.

Compensation & Incentive Structure

Starting Salary: $200,000
-
Base increases to $225,000 upon reaching 100 new patients in year one

Base increases up to $350,000–$375,000 upon reaching a full panel of 350 patients

Annual raises beyond panel completion

Relocation assistance: Negotiable

CME: $3,000 per year

Clinical Model & Work Environment

8–10 patients per day (often fewer)

Extended visits: 60/90/120 minutes

Panel limit: 350 patients

Dedicated nurse + private office

Two exam rooms (one dedicated for annual physicals)

200 patient-facing workdays per year, scheduled quarterly

On-call: 1/9 nights, 1/9 weekends

No call during vacation

Full clinical support, including:

Referral coordination

Practice management support

Athena EMR support
-
Nutrition, mental health, integrative medicine, exercise physiology

On-site services: Lab draws, X-ray, IV therapy

Courtesy hospital privileges; no inpatient responsibilities

No APP supervision required
Qualifications

Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (non-specialized)

U.S. medical school preferred; international grads considered

3+ years of primary care experience

Current U.S. medical license (or ability to obtain)
