Medical Director Opportunity
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Position Highlights
* Lead and oversee medical services across four urban FQHC locations
* Provide day-to-day resources for clinical staff and manage complex adult medical conditions
* Guide the development and implementation of medical policies, practices, and clinical programs
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure optimal operational effectiveness and strategic positioning of the health center
Education, Training & Experience
* MD or DO degree
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
* Ability to obtain an active medical license in Tennessee
* Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience
* Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) preferred

* Established FQHC with 4 downtown Chattanooga locations
* Fast-paced outpatient environment providing primary care, pediatrics, dental care, pharmacy, and social work services
* Direct medical oversight of providers and clinical teams
