Position Overview
A Critical Access hospital in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to provide 6–8 shifts per month of single-coverage ER. The provider will manage a broad patient population (all ages) and work in a fast-paced community environment with strong specialty backup, including RT, Teleintensivist, Ortho, Gen Surg, OB/GYN, and CRNA support.

Assignment Highlights

Shift Structure: 12-hour shifts

Schedule: 6–8 shifts per month

Patient Census: 15–20 patients per shift on average; up to 25 during busy season

Practice Setting: Critical Access Hospital | 11 ER beds | Single-provider coverage

Patient Population: Neonates through geriatrics

Support Staff: RT, Psych, Teleintensivist, Ortho, Gen Surg, OB/GYN, CRNA, and occasional APPs

EMR: Epic

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (required)
