Job Responsibilities
• document patient encounters per policy and compliance standards
• collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff
• coordinate care with internal and external providers
• follow ethical, legal, and professional standards
• participate in quality assurance and clinical improvement initiatives
• support special medical projects and on-site services
• maintain ongoing professional development
Qualifications
• board certified or board eligible in FM / IM / geriatrics
• active or eligible unrestricted state license
• active unrestricted DEA license
• current BLS and ACLS
Working Hours
• outpatient schedule
• daytime clinic hours
Skills
• strong communication and documentation
• familiarity with medicare and value-based care models
• ability to work in fast-paced outpatient setting
• proficiency with EHR systems (athena preferred)
