River Valley Health and Dental Care (RVHD) is seeking a mission-driven Family Medicine Physician to step into a key leadership role within our primary care team. As a physician leader at RVHD, you will guide a team of skilled and dedicated clinicians while providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. You’ll play a central role in strengthening care delivery, elevating clinical practice, and supporting the next generation of medical providers.
Job Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical care in alignment with evidence-based guidelines, standards of care, and regulatory expectations.
Collaborate closely with a full care team—behavioral health, dental, social services, and more—to promote holistic, continuous patient care.
Supervise and mentor physician assistants and nurse practitioners, ensuring treatment protocols are implemented and upheld.
Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing support for midlevel providers.
Help shape and maintain treatment standards that improve outcomes for our community.
Qualifications
Board certification in Family Medicine preferred.
Current DEA certification.
A leader with a collaborative style, strong communication skills, and a passion for serving underserved communities.
