Family Medicine Physician – Employed Opportunity | Outpatient Focus
A well-established regional medical center is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join a busy, collaborative outpatient practice with a strong, built-in patient base. This is an employed position within a 114-bed hospital offering a full continuum of care, including 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, a Level II-A neonatal nursery, and a 16-bed geriatric psychiatry unit.
Practice Details
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week (Mondays and Fridays required; 5 eight-hour shifts also acceptable)
- Call: Phone call only for your own panel; after-hours typically home health
- No obstetrics
- Patient volume: 24–28 per day once established
- Support staff: Dedicated MA or LPN
- Team: 3 Physicians, 3 NPs, 1 Pulmonologist
- On-site services: Lab, X-ray, ultrasound, bone density
- Hospitalist program manages inpatient care
